We are proud of our food and are constantly working to improve our selection and source new, local ingredients to add to our ever changing, seasonal menu.  We have an experienced and talented Team in our kitchen and we all enjoy making new dishes, our own soups, cakes and puddings. Sample Menus

We offer a range of traditional choices and use local produce when possible. This includes cheeses from Cotherstone and other local farms and meats sourced both from local farms and specialist suppliers. 

In addition we include many different and interesting choices on our ‘Specials Menu’ all of which are made from scratch on the premises.  As all our food is freshly made we can easily cater for any special diets/allergies, along with vegetarian menus etc.

Either of our beautifully restored and decorated restaurants are perfect for a private function for any occasion and can seat up to 40 in two rooms or separately for smaller parties.  We can offer a bespoke menu to suit individual requirements from informal buffet to formal banquet.
