We opened our own Village Store in July 2007 with the help of HRH Prince Charles’s charity ‘Pub is the Hub’. What once was a bedroom is now a lovely shop offering residents, locals and visitors essential grocery items, produce, stationery, gifts and crafts, sourced locally. Our special, organic soaps and toiletries, made by a local farmer’s wife, which we use in our hotel rooms, are on sale in the shop to take home along with cakes, jams & preserves from local suppliers and cards, books and calendars painted and produced by local artists.
